The River of Thought was always the prettiest way to look at a month of work. Now it tells you something.
The new Currents panel names the real subjects running through your notes — tap one and it lights up in the river so you can follow it. Lumen reads whatever time range you have open and writes a short take on it, so the picture arrives with a point of view attached. The river works with a thumb: tap any point to preview the note behind it. Your current workspace now shows in the mobile nav and on the dashboard, so you always know which board you are looking at. The Mac app moved into the menu bar and took over the part of meetings nobody wants to do: remembering to hit record.
A notification appears the moment a Zoom call starts. Hit Record and it captures both sides of the conversation through system audio — you and the people on the other end. Recording creates the meeting note for you, so there is no “where does this go” step afterwards. It stops on its own when the meeting ends, then enhances the notes without being asked. Blocked is a real state now, instead of a sentence buried in a description that nobody reads again.
Mark a task blocked with the reason, and point at the ticket that is blocking it. Blocked cards carry a badge on the board, and a filter chip pulls all of them up at once. When the blocker clears, you get nudged to unblock the thing waiting on it. July 29, 2026 Notifications
Mention someone or hand them a task, and they find out — whether or not PonderOS is open.
@mention a teammate in a task thread and they get a notification that opens the task, not just a pointer to it. Web push delivers mentions and assignments instantly, even with the app closed. If a notification goes unseen, an email follows with the actual comment text in it. Swipe a notification to clear it, or clear the whole drawer at once. Moving in should not be the hardest part of trying something new.
Import an Obsidian vault — markdown, folder structure, and all. Import a Notion export: drop in the zip and the hierarchy comes with it. Publish any document as a public link, on every plan including free. The big one. Lumen stopped being something you chat with and became something you hand work to.
Assign a task to Lumen the way you would assign it to a teammate. It picks the task up on the spot and starts working. The result lands in a new In Review lane as a draft. Nothing is ever marked done on its own — you approve it, edit it, or send it back. Mention @Lumen inside a task thread to kick off a run from the conversation itself. A table in your notes should be able to answer a question about itself.
Tables work out what kind of data each column holds and total, average, or count it in a footer row. Sort by any column, and drag column edges to resize. The dashboard was redesigned as a proper command center for a small screen. Tap a card’s status circle to move it through the board — no fighting drag-and-drop with your thumb. Assign someone from the task action sheet without opening the full editor. Documents open read-only on mobile, so scrolling never drops a cursor into the middle of your text. Recording stopped being a black box you wait on and became something you can read as it happens.
Live transcription while you record, in a capsule that stays out of the way of your note. Notes and Enhanced live side by side — what you typed and what Lumen made of it, neither one overwriting the other. Start recording again and the new audio appends to the transcript instead of replacing it. Edit the transcript after the fact, and regenerate the enhanced notes whenever you want. Create a shared workspace and invite people by email — they land on an invite page and join. Move documents, tasks, and projects you already have into a workspace. Record a meeting in the browser and get a transcript back. Publish a document to a public link that anyone can read. Ask Lumen to teach you something and it builds an interactive lesson, quizzes included. Upload a PDF into the chat and ask questions about it.
